Food and Wine Magazine has recognized the Denver International Wine Festival as one of the “Best Wine Festivals Across America.” Now in its 14th year, the Denver International Wine Festival, hosted by Wine Country Network, Inc., attracts vintners from around the world and showcases the most extensive selection of international and domestic wines at any Grand Tasting in the Rocky Mountain region.
Festival Itinerary
The festival kicks off with the Pairsine Chefs Fine Food and Wine Pairing Competition, on Thursday, November 1, 2018, in which up to ten wine-savvy Colorado chefs will create twenty gourmet dishes to pair with top winning wines from the 2018 Denver International Wine Competition. Foodie’s get to cast their votes for the coveted People’s Choice Chef, while pro judges vote for the “Most Creative” and “Best Chef.”
On Friday, November 2nd, the Grand Tasting of International Wines will take place — it’s one of the region’s largest wine-tasting events for consumers, media, and trade, with more than fifty wineries and distilleries pouring. Attendees enjoy delectable food and wine tastings, food products, travel destination exhibits and a silent auction benefiting There With CareTM.

Grand Tasting VIP ticket holders gain access to educational seminars and rare guided tastings. VIP ticket holders also enjoy two-hour early access and a VIP lounge with chef stations and premium beverages. This year’s venue is the newly built Denver Marriott Westminster. On Saturday, November 3, 2018, the DIWF has added the Julie and Julia Champagne Tribute Luncheon, an exquisite new event that will celebrate the 9th anniversary of the blockbuster movie “Julie and Julia.” Wine and food enthusiasts are invited to the grand finale of DIWF 2018 to celebrate life with a screening of the “Julie and Julia” movie and a lunch menu that is inspired by a popular annual luncheon that Julia Child hosted at the Aspen Food & Wine Classic.
